About us
We are an association of engineers from industry and research with the aim of making electricity grids and plants better, smarter and more economical. Our association is open for you to join upon request. We meet once a month on or offline to exchange ideas, coordinate our goals and update each other on the latest developments.
Goals of the Grid Impedance Interest Group
Raise understanding of the role of grid impedance in the energy transition
Discussion forum for the digitalisation of electrical grids
Platform for discussions on the current challenges of decentralized energy supply
We don't see grid impedance as an end in itself. Knowledge of grid impedance makes a significant contribution to the success of a decentralised power supply.
